Is this something I can get around?2. Vista recovery gets 26% into the first disk before I get the same error. I'm using the DVD's that where made when I got the computer.I can open the HP recovery system and get about 36% in, before i get the message:"error 1005"I have tried several options that i could find on google like:cleaning the disc's, setting the BIOS to default, checking the disc's are DVD+R.Someone suggested that Wireless has to be turned on when using the recovery. when I tried to run the recovery cd's to restore to factory image like everyone else; but , the first time I did this and subsequent times I tried to re-install to factory settings, there was nothing wrong with my pc I tried to recover to have the factory image.
