It could be just the black cover removal, who knows, but I'm very pleased.Removing the screws was a bitch cos although I had a T10 Torx insert, the shaft bore was too wide and I had to scrape away at the 1"-deep plastic well surrounding the screw head in order to gain access. Room was cool when we turned it off and when we turned it back on we got the warming message. It stays on "Warming up" screen indefinitely, and eventually causes me to shut off, re-start and get rid of what I was trying to do. Your printer will be reset. I have a Dell Vostro 260 computer with Windows 7 operating system; Any suggestions would be appreciated! Some say hit #9 to clear it and others say to hit #5 keys and still others tell you to disconnect the 'self-feeder' tray cable.

In my global resets, I had set the paper from A4 to Letter. after searching most available resources, i stumbled onto, what seems like my solution. (unplug the power cable first!) the ribbon cable running to the backside of the cartridge carriage was a bit loose, due to the retainer coming undone. Please help me fix the problem. Many units fixed thereafter. This feature is suppose to reset when I restart my computer, but if I dont go to tools, i get an error saying security wont let me download.Wish I could start over with a new printer. When I plugged the unit in, it came up as it was supposed to do.

Unplug the power cord to the all-in-one. Turn the printer off Hold down # and 6 while turning it on Keep holding it down ... Before beginning this procedure note that removing screws and this cover will void your warranty (not that anyone with this machine will actually have any warranty left), and that if you are an impatient person and decide to FORCE anything open then you will cause damage that I will not be responsible for...1) Power off and unplug the machine.2) Lift scanner door lid and remove (should lift off easily at about 90 degrees).3) Gently lift off keypad cover (should 'pop' off fairly easily lifting from each end lengthwise, simultaneously).4) Facing the front of the unit, behind the lcd screen there is a tab to release the keypad assembly. by unknown on May 12, 2009 at 3:03pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 i tried several resets #3, #6, #9.

I still have scanner failure...however it still prints. LEAVE THE BLACK COVER OFF7. When printing documents only partial prints are happening, sometimes blank pages come out sometimes 1 page with a partial print and then get error sometimes 3 pages with partial prtints then an error. Maybe he didn't understand the question?
