If you run into the same, make sure you also use epoxy to beef up the module as it pops off easy; put epoxy on the top FRONT half and the front side of the module as the plastic circuit goes into the upper rear of the module; you might also use a SMALL piece of duct tape to beef up that plastic circuit board that connects to the housing. (3) I installed both cartridges and closed the printer cover. (4) I powered up the printer by plugging in the power cord and got a “Remove and check color cartridge” error. (5) I opened the printer cover, let the cartridges move into center position, and pulled out the power cord. (6) I pulled out my new color cartridge that I had just modified with the tape and card pieces and installed another old color cartridge without any modifications.
