Or will there be lawyers in the US or elsewhere around the world that will have the guts and claim. You say this glob happens with a high page count,then you say if you print a lot the glob will not occur. Pretty sure there are generic carts for it and the OEM ones are spendy but not outrageous if you know where to buy. Have replaced twice using different #15 refills from Cartridge World. check my blog

The 990 even auto alignes the heads when you install a new one, Epson still doesn't do that and not sure if any of their printers do. I originally took them to do it but the office guy said they still had ink but the black ink cartridge failed the electrical test and I was told to buy a new one. Is it not compatible? read the full info here The printer toolbox is showing that the coloured cartridge has 100\% ink level and black is 90\% (I got the black ink refilled at cartridge world so I think that's ok) BUT there is still a warning saying that the colour cartridge is low on ink and the ink warning light wont stop flashing.

Pretty much selling printers in the knowledge that users would be forced to use HP supplies at a later date. or it's affiliates. I still can't print and the light is still blinking. Ive tried all methods of installing the drivers but no luck.

same thing keeps showing. I became an HP fanboi even though the printer cost $1,800 and the cartridges a measly $15 each. Therefore it's very unlikely that a firmware update caused the issues and the only other logical explanation is that HP programmed a date in its firmware on which non-HP cartridges would no longer be accepted. Check This Out Even with their Xtra big cartridges it's still a huge ripoff.

You could try printing with another operating system and see if it gives you the same error. No blinking light indicating a cart problem, but test pages print only black and magenta. Sounds like HP has gone away from their original heavy duty excellent printers for mostly consumer grade crap with all kinds of locks to limit what carts and things will work with them to force you to buy their also over priced ink. I've had this printer for years and it had worked perfectly until this problem occured about 2 months ago. It must think that the cartridges have not arrived at the s-s. I cleaned the cartridge and metal parts where the cartridge is inserted.
