Release the buttons after the HP All-In-One unit displays the Partial Reset message. Wireless scanning can be real slow with some documents. (Note: in my case, the scanner and printer driver gives me a choice of using either the USB or wireless connection when I get ready to use the printer.)If you are installing this printer on a wireless network that also has a wireless access point, your wireless installation will likely fail like mine did with a strange "No Filtering" error on the printed "Wireless Test Report". The price for the features was outstanding and don't forget to look up HP's 2011 printer trade-in program to get a rebate of another $50 too. So its not all a walk in the park but I'm sure its a matter of time and research!The manual is terrible by the way, and the online help is almost as bad. I figured it would break on me soon enough with all the convulsing but it did not. I have heard good things about the unit(once it gets up and running) I am a month into the process and still do not have a working printer.In between the first print head issues. When I tried to get a daily summary for Yahoo, it couldn't retrieve the info. The HP FAQ says you need to turn off your router's filtering in this case to use the printer wirelessly, which did not work for me (besides, this gave me a real firewall security concern).
