WOW, I unplugged the printer from the back then from the outlet then waited. No problem. Performing the steps described above, i.e., pulling the cord when the carriage motor started to move did not fix the problem.I paid $250 for this 7210 and I've only gotten about 100 copies out of this thing. That works!!!!!

Try removing the built-up mountain of ink that will cause this.
