It might not be necessary to complete all the steps.

HelpJeanette by unknown on Mar 11, 2008 at 12:42pm Add comment Please sign in to comment ...how the paper is going thru – is it going with “fixed steady speed" or is it looking like “going/not going/not known what to do” feeding? If you “breaking” the paper smoothly by you fingers, then what happens?I thing that if paper is going thru the printer smoothly without any problems, then there can be dirty on somewhere (or some parts are wear away as Bert told) – if you can easily slow down the feeding of paper, then some feeding roll can be dirty or something like that and thus the paper is “slipping” -> lines are not straight and cautious cleaning can help :) - otherwise, it’s needed more study of problem and as Bert told, spare parts are difficult to find :( - -Tapsa- 0 These suggestions are based on the assumption that you are using the automatic document feeder for faxing and scanning.Open the scanner as if you are going to do a scan without using the document feeder. Press 5 to select and print a Self-Test Report. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
