Some HP printers have in printer setup have a choice between auto,postscript or pcl.If you do not see that choice then we'll assume it is just PCL already. Let me know if this fixes the error.

You need the postscript simm along with i believe an extra 4 more meg of ram for the 4 plus to work on a MAC.
