The printer starts up OK, then the carousel rotates backwards, then the carousel center (black open shaped cylinder) starts to move, then stops and the 54.2 error code appears. My fix for the 54.2....the carousel bearing needed a couple of drops of plastic compatible oil and it loosened right up. Any ideas??????

Looks like the carousel was caked with Magenta. If the message persists, contact HP support. Before the carousel rotates it has to rotate that piece so that the highest section (the part that sticks out) is up.
