It doesn't tell you anything about the quality of your burn, the way a scan with something like DiscSpeed would. It also burns the disk ten times faster than NERO was attempting to do.

The (mini)dump logs usually provide enough info about what driver crashed. Nothing has an exclamation mark in Device Manager. I have to pay for everything at Nero!Earlier when I bought an optical driver I got a Nero install disc with it for the correct using. This caused all kinds of nasty problems with my PC. boot into safe mode and then try burning again.If it works, your issue is probably due to one or more of those filter drivers.Is removing them just temporary/easy to undo?How do I boot into safe mode without all but my hdd becoming invisible to windows (I tried default/"minimal" safeboot from msconfig, and I tried safe mode with networking from boot interrupt)? Let me know if you find a resolve. Start / Run / devmgmt.msc / OK.2. It could be as simple as needing a new driver for your drive.
