Working... Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before continuing. My problem was with getting the ‘replace right cartridge' error msg. I don't know if this had any bearing on it working. Source

Imagine my annoyance when the error remained, because HP cartridges aren't cheap. Of course HP might say use original cartridges too and you might not encounter the problem at all, or at least the cartridge is definitely out of ink and requires replacement. I'm using the J6450 and the #6 trick worked! If there is debris, skip to Solution two in this document to clean the contacts. why not try these out
